Lamborghini launches new sports car ‘Huracán’ in India

Mumbai: Automobili Lamborghini has launched its new luxury super sports car segment, with the brand new Huracán. The new sports car has been unveiled on September 22, 2014.

The ceremony was held in the presence of Sebastien Henry, Head of South East Asia of Automobili Lamborghini, who unveiled and presented the Huracán for the first time to Mumbai.

Huracán features a 5.2 l V10 engine with 610 hp, reaches a top speed of over 325 km/h, and accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 3,2 seconds. Lamborghini claims that Huracán combines absolute performance with easy-to drive road behaviour, with sport-oriented finish.

“The Huracan is aligned to become a legend in the future. Since its global launch at the Geneva Motor Show, the customer response has been very positive; they are delighted with the new design philosophy. Deliveries of these units are scheduled to begin in October 2014,” said Pavan Shetty, Head – Operations, Lamborghini India.

The side windows of Huracán LP610-4 take on a hexagonal form. The 12.3-inch TFT display can be configured in a number of different modes and provides the driver with all key information in a virtual format. The slender lines of the instrument mounts and the center tunnel are indicative of the lightness of the interior design. Priced at Rs 3.43 crore (ex-showroom, Delhi), authorized dealers have begun accepting reservations for the Lamborghini Huracán since January this year.
