Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu is keen on the metro rail project in Vijayawada
VIJAYAWADA: Citizens of Vijayawada can take a ride on the metro rail by 2018, confidently expressed principal adviser to the state government on metro rail project and Delhi Metro Rail Corporation E. Sridharan.
He said Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu is keen on the metro rail project in Vijayawada and is confident of completing the project within three years after getting it off the ground.
Dr Sridharan said a detai-led project report would be submitted to state government by January end.
The metro rail project team headed by Dr Sridharan, including DMRC director S.D. Sharma inspected the proposed metro rail project route in Vijayawada city.
