AP CM Chandrababu Naidu to inaugurate TRIP on September 29
CEO Conclave to be held on same day
Visakhapatnam: Information Technology seems to be the growth mantra of the tech-savvy Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu. To encourage the start-ups, government is establishing Technology Research and Innovation Park (TRIP) in Vizag at IT SEZ in Madhurawada.
TRIP, which is going to be inaugurated by Mr Naidu on September 29, would be managed by reputed incubator for generation of new ideas and product development. The government is also organising a CEO Conclave on the same day in order to bring out a clear roadmap for the state on the IT sector and its growth in close association with the industry.
“Taking the step towards development of the new state, the government is keen to explore and promote the immense business opportunities with the key stakeholders, industry, institutions and producers across various sectors such as IT and ITES, ESDM, SMAC and IOT,” observed Rushikonda IT Park Association (RITPA), vice-president, O. Naresh Kumar.
According to sources in IT and Communication department, the aim of the government is to foster a culture of innovation and entrepreneurship in Vizag by 2020 which will propel further growth of the ITIR planned in the region.
Mr Naresh added that there is a need for many such facilities in Vizag and also to fast track the ITIR process, which will help boost the IT sector in this region. He added that local entrepreneurs in IT sector will be attending the conclave.
