Karan Johar took his love for designing a step further when he decided to collaborate with a popular foreign brands Vero Moda. The film maker designed a range of clothing for the brand and had a special preview for his Bollywood friends. - As per reports, the collection will be an amalgamation of styles which have been inspired by high-street trends and haute couture.
- The director who has his own TV show and has a number of block busters to his name might just add another feather to his hat with this fashion collaboration.
- It has been reported that Karan always had a keen eye for detail and also designed clothes for his Bollywood friends.
- While the brand focuses on trendy and formal western wear offering a range of outfits from trousers to skirts to dresses for women, the collection which will have the Karan Johar touch will be exclusive and lavish.
- He went on to say,"This is my first attempt to recreate my own distinct style by putting together a collection for a women's fashion brand. The fact that I get to do it for a brand like this one makes it very exciting for me."
- Karan reportedly said,"Through the years, I have used my films as an outlet to showcase my own sense of fashion, which is luxurious and grand, yet functional at the same time."
- His friends who included designers, actors, models and directors all came dressed in their best to support the star in this new venture.
