Khammam: Plastic products should be replaced with bamboo goods, is the slogan of Khammam on Thursday.
Efforts are on to set up a centre in Hyderabad to sell bamboo products of Khammam. Backward Classes Financial Cooperative Corporation was asked to search 2,000 square feet space for the centre immediately.
Saying that bamboo is an eco-friendly grove, collector Ilambarithi directed the officials to provide online marketing to the bamboo products. He said that artisans should be trained to make modern products with bamboo.
