Here is the live cricket score.
Hurricanes' opening pair of Ben Dunk and Tim Paine were kept in check by Kings XI Punjab. On the green wicket in Mohali, the bowling duo of Anureet Singh and Parvinder Awana did not allow Hurricanes to have a flying start.
The slow run-rate got better off Hobart Hurricanes' skipper and he was castled by Akshar Patek in his very first over.
Paine's opening partner Ben Dunk then cut loose and upped Hurricanes' run-rate after a slow start. However, his stay was cut short by Thisara Perera. By the end of 10 overs, Hurricanes had put up 60 runs on the board.
While Blizzard hit some big blows and attempted to up the ante, his stay in the middle did not last long as he got out off the bowling of Sri Lankan Thisara Perera. Shoaib Malik followed Blizzard to the dug-out soon after as his attempt to smash Karanveer Singh went wrong.
However, Travis Birt and Jonathan Wells controlled the further damage by counter attcking Kings XI Punjab. While the duo took a liking to KXIP spinners, smashing all around the park without much trouble, they did not spare the medium pacers either.
But their partnership was broken when Wells was run-out. While Birt tried to take Hurricanes to a healthy total, his effort was not good enough as Kings XI Punjab restricted the Tim Paine-led side to 144.
