TTD earmarks parking areas for Brahmotsavam
Parking for 1,500 two-wheelers and 100 four-wheelers has been designated near Srivari Mettu route
Tirupati: Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams joint executive officer K.S. Sreenivasa Raju has inspected the parking areas near Alipiri old check post and Srivari Mettu on Wednesday in view of annual Brahmotsavam of the Lord of Seven Hills scheduled from September 26 to October 4 in Tirumala. The JEO has instructed Engineering Depar-tment and Vigilance officials of TTD to see that parking slots for two-wheelers and four-wheelers be systematised for the convenience of the multitude of visiting pilgrims especially for Garuda Seva which falls on September 30.
After a 3-hour long inspection, the parking has been earmarked for 1,500 two wheelers 1,500 at Alipiri Old Check post and for another 1,500 two wheelers and 100 fourwheelers near Srivari Mettu route at Srinivasa Mangapuram. The JEO has directed the officials to pay special attention to the arrangements to avoid any inconvenience to the pilgrims. Superintending engineer Sudhakar Rao, exe-cutive engineer Nages-wara Rao were present with the JEO.
