Hyderabad: Despite his several flops, Ram Gopal Varma remains a fascinating director to work with, which is probably why many actors are still keen on working with him.
The latest name, who is all praise about RGV, is Sana. She has acted in hundreds of films, but Anukshanam was the first time she worked with with RGV. And, according to her, the experience was “exhilarating”.
“He gives the script well in advance... in preparation for us to act on our own. He is an amazing director and it’s a great experience working with him,” says Sana. She has worked with many directors, but she says RGV is completely different. “He called me up, explained the character to me and asked me to come up with my own idea of of the character. My role was that of a mother and I sent a photo to him with my own idea, using my own costumes,” says Sana. He saw it and liked it.
“Before the scene, he prepares the artistes making it easy for us to do our part,” she added. RGV too was impressed with her performance and said, “Where were you all these days?”
Even Sana’s daughter and son attended the shoot and RGV told them that their mother was a very good actor.
“It’s indeed a great and wonderful experience to work with him,” added Sana, who has now decided to work with the director in another project too.
