Mumbai: Chennai was abuzz with reports of actor ‘Ulaganayagan’ Kamal Haasan being admitted to Apollo Hospital, Chennai following a bout of food poisoning.
His publicist Nikkil Murugan, however assured his fans on Twitter that it wasn’t a serious case.
Apparently the actor was shooting in remote areas of Kerala and due to lack of hygienic restaurants; he ate at roadside dhabas and drank infected water. According to reports, he will be discharged on Wednesday.
Haasan is currently busy shooting for the Kollywood film ‘Papanasam’, which is a remake of ‘Drishyam’. He is also gearing up for the release of his next ‘Uthama Villain’.
