State will keep all its promises: Kodela Siva Prasad

24x7 power supply is top priority of Telugu Desam government

Ongole: Assembly Speaker Kodela Siva Prasad said the government will keep up all its election promises. He said the state government will hold negotiations with Centre on September 16, to implement the 24x7 power supply from October 2. Addressing a press meet held here on Monday, he said that the government has already taken steps to implement the continuous power supply. He said that the government will waive crop loans to the tune of Rs 47,000 crore very soon. Replying to a question, he said that the government will waive weavers’ loans also.

He said that delimitation of districts and Assembly constituencies’ re-organisation will take place very soon. He reminded for the first time in the country, state cabinet meeting held without papers. He said that during the Assembly sessions, opportunity given to 98 first-time elected MLA to express their opinions on various issues. He said that he would take steps to increase Assembly sessions time.

Earlier, he inaugurated a private hospital in Ongole city. Speaking on the occasion, the Assembly Speaker said that there is need to develop health hubs in all the districts in AP. He felt that there is need to improve facilities in the primary health centres to treat patients covered Rajiv Arogyasri scheme. He urged the people to go for health check up every year for diagnosis of deceases. He urged the doctors to work with dedication. He said that the doctors should have skill and maintain good relations with the patients to shine in the profession. He said that he got more satisfaction in the doctor profession. MLA Damacharla Janardhan, Telugu Rythu state president Karanam Bala Ramakrishna Murthy was also present in the press meet.
