NIT Manipur separates students from non-locals
Students feared that they would be attacked if they leave the campus
Hyderabad: Students from Telangana and AP holed up at NIT-Manipur said they were living under threat from the locals. The situation was peaceful on the campus on Monday, according to reports.
However, students feared that they would be attacked if they leave the campus. The Manipuri students have set up some ‘unwritten rules’.

“We are asked not to go out of the campus before 10.30 am and after 6 pm,” said a student, B. Ravi Teja. Meanwhile, the Manipur government said that locals and non-locals are being housed in separate campuses.
