Lawyer Prashant Bhushan cannot claim immunity from disclosing the name of the “whistleblower”

New Delhi: CBI director Ranjit Sinha, in his affidavit to the Supreme Court, is believed to have said that noted lawyer Prashant Bhushan cannot claim immunity from disclosing the name of the “whistleblower” who gave Mr Bhushan the list of visitors to Mr Sinha’s official residence.
The CBI chief’s affidavit is in response to the plea of Mr Bhushan that Mr Sinha be removed from the 2G spectrum scam probe in the wake of allegations that he met the accused and officials of the accused companies at his residence.
