Coimbatore: The Department of Food Science Nutrition and Nutrition Association of Avinashilingam University for Women along with the Nutrition Society of India, Coimbatore chapter, organised the National Nutrition Week Celebrations for 2014.
The valedictory of the week-long celebration was held on Friday at the Avinashilingam university. Dr K. Bhaskarachary, senior research officer and national vice-president, IDA, food chemistry division, National Institute of Nutrition, Hyderabad, was the chief guest and delivered a talk on ‘Total diet survey - Indian scenario’.
