Joint management for bodies: Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu

Hyderabad: Submitting a memorandum to Governor E.S.L. Narasimhan on Thursday, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu has urged for a joint management of the institutions, mentioned in Schedule 10 A of the State Bifurcation Act.

These are the institutes, which are providing services to both the states. Mr Naidu also said that the assets and liabilities of the institutions mentioned in Schedule IX of the Act should be divided on a 58:42 ratio between the Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. Regarding the institutions which were not mentioned in the IX and X Schedule, Mr Naidu has requested the Governor to prevent the institutions being take up by the Telangana state government.
