Mumbai: Veteran actor Naseeruddin Shah is known for his tongue-in-cheek sense of humour and this time, it was his Finding Fanny co-star Arjun Kapoor who was at the receiving end. When asked about his experience of working with Arjun, Naseer saab told us, “I’ve known Boney from before Arjun was born, so it’s difficult for me to take Arjun seriously. But he’s a lovely boy. I think he should slim down if he wants to be a hero but he’s a slob in Finding Fanny so the weight works well.”
Naseer’s autobiography releases this week. About it he says, “I’ve tried to be as accurate and as objective as I can and make it as engaging as possible for people. I decided that if I don’t have anything complimentary to say then I’d rather not say anything. So I’m not as blunt as I normally am. Those of whom I didn’t have complimentary things to say about, I didn’t say anything.” Quite a change from his otherwise say-it-like-it-is stance!
