Coimbatore: The AIMMK will campaign towards creating a sense of understanding among Muslims in the city. and the need for communal integration to grow as a nation. When good is done, it needs to be accepted irrespective of the party’s religious ideologies.
The BJP has been supportive to Muslims in Gujarat and we are confident that the government will focus on an inclusive policy so that the minorities benefit,” he said. The Congress and DMK government have always believed in a “divide and rule policy” for their vested political interests for decades. It is time the Muslims understood the strategy that these parties have embarked upon, merely for vote bank politics, he said.
The BJP candidate who campaigned with the AIMMK at V.K.K. Menon road, Avarampalayam, Peelamedu Pudur, Udayampalayam, Masakalipalayam, ESI, Women’s Polytechnic and Lakshmipuram, said it is important to inculcate a sense of brotherhood, irrespective of the religion one hails from, and the BJP will work towards the development of the minority community.
