Deepika understands me as a director: Homi Adajania
Mumbai: Homi Adajania, who has teamed up with Deepika Padukone for the second time in 'Finding Fanny', says the actress is a brilliant performer and understands him as a director.
"She has a great face and body. More importantly, she is a brilliant actress. I am happy that she understands me as a director very well," Homi said in an interview here.
Homi says he cast her in 'Cocktail' without watching her earlier films. "Before starting to shoot for the film, I told her -- you have to trust me as a director. Veronica is a cool character in the movie but please don't pretend to be cool because then you will be so unreal," said Homi.
"I had told Deepika that when people come out from theatre after watching Cocktail they will feel that they have seen the best film of yours. I am a big fan of Deepika, Kajol and Tabu," he added.
'Finding Fanny' will release tomorrow in English and Hindi.
