Mumbai: Apple has finally rolled out two versions of iPhone 6. The company has named its 4.7-inch variant as ‘iPhone 6‘and 5.5-inch variant as ‘iPhone 6 Plus’. What’s the difference between the two?
- Display:
Apple iPhone 6 features a 4.7-inch Retina HD display with 1334 x 750 pixel resolution providing 38 per cent more viewing area as compared to the older models of iPhone.
On the other hand, iPhone 6 Plus features a much bigger 5.5-inch Retina HD display with 1920 x 1080 pixel resolution and offers around 88 per cent more viewing area and nearly three times the pixels than older versions of iPhone 6.
- Thickness: iPhone 6 is 6.9 mm and iPhone 6 Plus is 7.1 mm.
- Battery:
Apple claims that the lithium-ion battery of iPhone 6 can last up to 10 days of standby time and 11 hours of video playback.
But on the other hand, the battery of the 5.5-inch variant can last much longer. The company claims that the battery of iPhone 6 Plus can last up to 16 days on standby mode and 80 hours of audio playback.
