Shiv Sena joins bandwagon against ‘love jihad’, terms it an international conspiracy
Mumbai: Shiv Sena on Wednesday claimed ‘love jihad’ is an international conspiracy to destroy Hindu culture and said that those who have called for this kind of Jihad should be taught a lesson.
Sena joined the bandwagon after right wing organisations and BJP’s staunch stand against Hindu girls marrying Muslim boys.
“We agree with concern expressed by RSS chief Mohan Bhagawat that Hindu girls should be made aware of the ‘love jihad’. This is a part of activities by Muslim terrorist organisations of wagging jihad. Lashkar-e-Taiba, SIMI, Al-Qaeda are working for Islamisation of our country. There are several cases from across India, where Hindu girls marry Muslim boys and are forcefully converted to Islam,” the Sena mouthpiece Saamana editorial said.

The editorial appreciated BJP for making ‘Love Jihad’ as an agenda in the Uttar Pradesh polls and supported BJP leader Swami Adityanath.
“There was a tremendous response from public when Swami Adityanath said that ‘no Jodha would go to Akbar now’. The Hindu society is furious over incidents of ‘love jihad’ in Uttar Pradesh, Jharkhand and Bihar and Swami Adityanath is just working to vent out their anger,” the editorial said.
Appealing to Hindu organisations to stand against ‘love jihad’, Sena warned the Muslims who are allegedly involved in the activity. “It is necessary to teach a lesson to those encouraging ‘love jihad’,” it said.
