Apart from some accidents, immersion peaceful: Home minister of Telangana

Hyderabad: Two kids were seriously injured while few others suffered minor injuries as the vehicle they trolley they were travelling with a Ganesh idol overturned at Moazzam Jahi Market junction on Monday morning.

A 24-year-old man died due to stroke while participating in the immersion process at Shalibanda. In another incident, a minor girl and her mother were severely injured as they both fell from a Ganesh pandal near Lumbini park.

Apart from these incidents, the immersion was peaceful. “So far the celebrations have been peaceful in the city,” said Telangana home minister Nayani Narsimha Reddy.
