Watch: German waiter breaks beer-carrying record
Oliver carried 27 mugs for a distance of 40 metres
Mumbai: Oliver Struempfel works at the Gillemoos festival in the town of Abensberg and took on the beer-carrying challenge after months of training.
The 27 mugs Oliver carried for a distance of 40 metres, each weighing 2.3 kilos, is a new world record. But there are perils involved in the challenge.
He went through a lot of training before he could do that.
'It is no longer enough to just carry the mugs, but you have to support the training by going to the gym, especially in Winter when you don't get much time carrying the beer mugs,' he said.
