ISKCON backs NTR canteens

Guntur: The International Society for Krishna Consciousness (ISKCON) will sponsor the NTR canteens in Guntur city. The canteens will provide subsidised food to the people.

As many as 10 such canteens will be started in the city for which the government will provide basic the amenities and the Iskcon would supply quality food for nominal prices.

Guntur collector Kantilal Dande said that breakfast will be available from 7 am to 10 am, lunch from 1 pm to 3 pm and dinner from 7 pm to 10 pm in these canteens from October 2.

He said 65 grammes idli would be sold at Rs 1, 350 grammes lemon rice for Rs 5, 350 gram curd rice for Rs 3 and chapatti with vegetable curry would cost Rs 3.
