Hyderabad:A man was killed and his body was found wrapped in a bag at Yellareddyguda in Sanjeeva Reddy Nagar. The body was recovered from his friend’s house in the neighbourhood. Cops suspect two of his friends and have launched a manhunt. A love affair is suspected to have led to the murder.
The deceased Syed Riyaz, 28, was a marble worker and was staying with his family at Yellareddyguda. He is a native of Rajasthan. Police said that Riyaz who stays on the ground floor was found dead in his neighbour’s house on the top floor of the same complex. The culprits attacked him with blunt weapons on the head. His body was wrapped in a bag and left in the house.
Riyaz’s family started searching for him and found him murdered. Sources said he was attacked by two of his friends, who work in a fast food joint over a love affair. “We suspect two of his friends. Unless they are traced the motive for the murder cannot be established. We are investigating all angles including the love affair,” said SI Sudarshan Reddy, of Sanjeeva Reddy Nagar police station.
Based on a complaint a murder case was registered. The victim's body was taken to Gandhi Hospital and was later handed over to the family after postmortem.
