Adajania in his response said that the word ‘virgin’ has previously been passed off in films like ‘Dil Se’ and ‘2 States’. He was asked to omit the line in the film for it to be certified as UA.
According to reports the line has been cleared by Chairperson of the CBFC. Director Homi took to Twitter to confirm the news. He tweeted, “Alas a sense of reason prevails! "I'M A VIRGIN" been allowed back in @FindingFanny. A step twds consistency and rationality from the Censors.”
Already being called a film to watch out for, Finding Fanny releases on September 12. Produced by Maddock Films, the film is being presented by Fox Star Studios.
