Parents allege that their child was killed by other boy
Tirupati: Mystery shrouds the death of a Class 10th student who was found lying in a pool of blood during the lunch hour at a private school in Tirupati on Thursday. Mohan Krishna Reddy, 14, studying 10th Class at a private school near Varadaraja swamy temple was lying in a pool of blood at the school campus and was shifted to a private hospital by the school management without informing his parents.
By the time the boy was taken to the private hospital, he was declared as brought dead by the doctors.Meanwhile, the parents of the boy who learnt about the horrifying incident rushed to the school where the management put up their version that two boys Ajit,15, and Mohan Krishna Reddy, 15, accidentally slipped onto a glass door and as the glass door fell apart the glass pieces pierced into his neck leading to severe injuries as the boy collapsed onto the floor in a pool of blood.
The management told the parents that though they shifted both the wards to the hospital, Mohan Krish-na Reddy succumbed to injuries on the way to the hospital.However, the parents and relatives of the boy who could not come to terms with the version of the school management thrashed the administrative staff of the school. The parents and relatives of the deceased boy allege that the death of their child was not accidental.
The parents allege that their child was killed by the other boy Ajit in a fit of rage after a heated altercation during the lunch hour.They questioned the grounds under which the school management shifted the boy to a private hospital for treatment without informing the parents.The parents also alleged that while the incident took place during the lunch hour between 12 pm - 1 pm, it was only after 1.30 pm that the boy was shifted to the hospital for treatment and that the delay had cost the life of the boy.
Students unions representatives who resorted to agitations in strong protest against the shocking incident along with the parents and the relatives of the deceased boy demanded justice and urged the cops to take the legal course of action in the right direction and not to mop up the case. Meanwhile, Tirupati east police led by Deputy Superintendent of Police Mr Ravi Shankar Reddy who inspected the school premises, are yet to register a case and continue to remain tight lipped over the mystery behind the death of the boy.
