Yours truly: Celebrities speak on Teachers Day

On Teachers’ Day, celebrities remember their favourite teachers

Hyderabad:

‘My Mom’s the best teacher’, Kriti Sanon

My mom is a professor in Delhi University. She used to help me in all subjects in school, teach me at home, make notes at home, take tests and help me revise my lessons. I used to dislike Maths initially as a kid, but she made me practise so much that I started loving it. Whether it is studies, values or life, she has been the best teacher in every way possible.

‘I owe my dance to Paresh sir’ , Tiger Shroff

A teacher who has definitely left an impact on me is my dance teacher Paresh Shirodkar Sir. He’s given me the ability to express myself freely and confidently through my dance and that’s the best feeling. After my film Heropanti, I received a lot of appreciation for my dancing skill and I truly owe it all to my guruji. Also both our inspiration is Michael Jackson and we bond over that too.
‘Barry John is a genius of acting’ , Richa Chadda
The teacher I adore the most is Barry John. He’s one of the best acting coaches in the country and he’s an absolute genius. His contribution to my life is as big as it is to the country’s performing arts.
