Choreographer-turned-actor-turned-director Lawrence's experiment
He says that he wants the audience to watch two films with one ticket
Hyderabad:Choreographer-turned-actor-turned-director Lawrence has an interesting idea. He says that he wants the audience to watch two films with one ticket. “When I was down with back pain my doctors prescribed five months’ rest. It was then that this idea struck me. I wanted to make two movies and show them on one ticket one film till the interval and the second one after the interval,” says Lawrence.
“The first film will be titled Musalodu and the second one The Latest. I am playing the lead in both these films,” he says. These films will be released in Telugu and Tamil. Andrea and Lakshmi Rai are playing the female leads in the films. Speaking about the films he says that Musalodu is an action-packed film with a message and the second movie would be a comic entertainer.
Lakshmi Rai says that this is her second film with Lawrence. “This concept is new and I am playing a under-privileged girl in the film,” she says. “We will shoot the climax soon and with this, the film will be complete. We plan to release the film on December 25,” says Lawrence also sharing that his back pain was causing delays with the schedule.
Lawrence is busy completing Ganga, a sequel to his earlier film Muni 2, however, his Hindi debut is in the offing, with plans of Kanchana being remade in Hindi. Ajay Devgan will play the lead in the Hindi version. Other casting details will follow later.
