Hyderabad: The MIM president and Hyderabad MP, Mr Asaduddin Owaisi, on Wednesday demanded an unconditional apology from Jammu Observer news daily saying that it published a false and baseless report quoting his name.
Mr Owaisi said he had received calls from friends in media that a Jammu-based daily has carried a report citing that a Hindi poster bearing his picture, in which he had alleged to make certain remarks with regard to Indian Muslims.
Maintaining that he has nothing do with the pamphlet, Mr Owaisi denied making any such hate speech and said he does not know who created and circulated such a provocative pamphlet. Mr Owaisi said he will initiate a legal action against the publication by filing the defamation suit if it does not apologise.
