Chennai: Dhanush played a civil engineer in his recent film Vellai Illa Patthari, which was a boxoffice hit. Now, in Poriyaalan, which is all set for release this week, where Harish too plays the role of a civil engineer. The story realistically deals with the problems faced by a civil engineer.
“The film has no imaginary elements in it. It has portrayed reality in a beautiful way. The characters in this film, including me, are very simple and the incidents reflect real life. It has a very good love story and friendship in it,” says Harish.
Ace director Vetrimaaran, is presenting the film as he was very impressed after seeing it. In fact, earlier, he took time out to visit the sets of Poriyaalan and gave a few suggestions to the director, Thanukumar.
Ask him whether it is similar to VIP and he says, “It is not at all similar to VIP. Poriyaalan is about the problems the lead actor faces in his job and how he manages his love life too in a realistic way. Here, the actor is a civil engineer right from the first scene.”
