Mumbai: Salman Khan has asked Sooraj Barjatya to move the sets of his film Prem Ratan Dhan Paayo to Karjat. The reason? Salman is soon scheduled to start shooting for his reality TV show, the location for which is Karjat, and wants to avoid the hassle of travelling to and from the sets of his film and show.
And what Salman wants, he gets. Sooraj Barjatya’s production team is already looking into how it can construct the sets close to that of the TV show’s. “Salman has a packed schedule, but he wants to meet his deadlines. A delay in one project will inevitably affect another. This (proximal shooting locations) is the best way out. He has spoken to Sooraj about it and the team is already chalking out the details,” a source close to the actor shared.
Currently travelling overseas, Salman is scheduled to return to Mumbai soon and commence the shoot of his reality show. “We have a few days before we take a final call on the location of the set of our film. We’re in touch with Salman’s team. His health and convenience is of utmost importance to us and Sooraj ji,” a source from the production house said.
In the meantime, we hear that Salman is also helping former Bigg Boss contestant Elli Avram grab a foothold in Bollywood. The buzz is that Salman has spoken to a leading filmmaker friend about casting Elli in an upcoming project.
