Bengaluru: As the Prime Minister's key aide, former Gujarat speaker Vajubhai Vala took the oath of office as Governor of Congress-run Karnataka, Chief Minister Siddaramaiah must brace for a BJP-led onslaught against him and his government. On top of the BJP agenda is denotification of land in Arkavathy Layout, which is now under the scrutiny of former law minister Suresh Kumar.
At a BJP core committee meeting on Monday, the party bigwigs, smarting from losing a sure seat like Bellary, strategised on how to wrest the state back into the saffron fold.
