Cops going slow in Karthik case?
Police have failed to trace the accused so far in this matter
Bengaluru: The city police seem to be going slow in a case involving Railway Minister D.V. Sadananda Gowda’s son Karthik Gowda, who has been accused of rape and cheating by a model-actress in the city. The police have sent notices to the minister’s residence in Sanjay Nagar, but claim that they are yet to trace the accused.
The actress, Mythriya Gowda, filed the complaint against Karthik Gowda at the R.T. Nagar police station six days ago. Till now, the police have only recorded the statement of the complainant, while they are yet to trace the accused to get his statement. Karthik’s advocates have already sought an anticipatory bail, hearing of which is coming up on September 4. The case was filed the same day Karthik got engaged to another woman.
