Mumbai: Lava has unveiled its new selfie smartphone model – Iris X5, which has been spotted on Amazon India website. The new selfie handset features a 5-inch 720x1280 pixel IPS display, which is powered by 1.2GHz quad-core processor with 1GB of RAM.
Iris X5 runs on Android 4.4 KitKat operating system and has an in-built storage capacity is 8GB. Its onboard memory can be expanded to up to 32GB via microSD card. On its camera front, Lava Iris X5 is also packed with a 8MP rear shooter with dual-LED flash and 5MP front autofocus camera.
Its front shooter also features a backside illuminated sensor and has a 1.4um pixel size and a 4-element lens deployed in the camera. The company also claims that Iris X5 also supports 3G, Wi-Fi, Micro-USB, Bluetooth and is fuelled with 2100mAh battery. Lava Iris X5 selfie handset is priced at Rs 8,649 on Amazon India.
