Met experts predict more rains in next 24 hours
Hyderabad: More rainfall has been predicted for next 24 hours in the Telangana region. The state recorded heavy rainfall in many places over the last 24 hours, with Nizamabad recording around 13 cm of rainfall. The twin cities recorded nearly 4.6 cm rainfall.
Meanwhile, a well-marked low-pressure area over north Coastal Andhra Pradesh now lies over south Chhattisgarh and neighbouring areas.
The Southwest monsoon has been vigorous over Coastal AP and Telangana. Met department predicts that heavy to very heavy rainfall is likely to occur at a few places in Telangana, including Khammam, Warangal, Karimnagar, Nizamabad, Hyderabad and Ranga Reddy.
One or two places in Srikakulam, Vizianagaram, Visakhapatnam, East and West Godavari, Krishna and Guntur in coastal Andhra Pradesh will also get heavy rains, officials predicted.
