Startup Village is joining hands with Villgro to promote innovations with social impact
Kochi: It is a golden opportunity for young social entrepreneurs to win a lakh of rupees and gain access to expert guidance and funding. The Startup Village is joining hands with Villgro, a non-profit organisation that promotes innovations with social impact, to launch a pitch session for social entrepreneurs to present their ideas before a panel of experts and get Villgro’s mentoring and The pitch session, to be held at the Startup Village on Friday, will be part of an initiative by Villgro called ‘Unconvention|L’.
Young entrepreneurs working on innovative solutions to address the most pressing social problems, can present their ideas before an expert jury comprising Villgro mentors, successful social entrepreneurs, social incubators and seed investors. The ‘enterprise-stage’ winner at the presentation session will win a prize money of Rs 1,00,000 and the ‘idea- stage’ winner will receive a cash prize of Rs50,000.
