Kalanithi Maran plea to Madras High Court on cheating case
He approached the Madras high court to quash a criminal case
Chennai: Kalanithi Maran, chairman of Sun TV network, approached the Madras high court to quash a criminal case registered against him by police.
Justice K B K Vasuki, before whom the petition filed by Kalanithi Maran came up for hearing, adjourned it to September 8.
According to Maran, police registered an FIR against him for alleged offences under sections 341, 406, 420 and 506 (i) of the IPC, based on a complaint given by P. V. Sivaprasad, proprietor of A Video Today,
