London: A Seattle based food van has made the world's most expensive hot dog priced at 169 dollars.
The 12-inch Juuni Ban hot dog is made of smoked cheese bratwurst sausage, topped with luxury treats such as caviar, fois gras and shaved black truffles, by Japanese fusion food specialists Tokyo Dog, the Daily Star reported.
The owner, Eugene Woo, has claimed that the "savoury" hot dog tastes fabulous and a lot of real research has gone into making it.
It took the creators a year to put together the gourmet hot dog and the chefs require two weeks notice to prepare the ingredients.
