Pervez Musharraf calls Narendra Modi anti-Muslim, anti-Pakistan

‘Pakistan is strong and a nuclear power, we should not treat Modi like a viceroy’

New Delhi: In an interview to a Pakistani news channel, former President Pervez Musharraf called Narendra Modi anti-Muslim and anti-Pakistan.

Reportedly, he said, “As far as my opinion is concerned about Narendra Modi, his attitude clearly shows that he is anti-Muslim and anti-Pakistan and there is no doubt about it. However, he has been elected as the Prime Minister of India and till now hasn't shown his cards.”

Musharraf further went said that that there should be no doubts in the minds of Modi and Indians that they can harm Pakistan.

“We are a strong nation and a nuclear power, so we should not treat him like a viceroy. We should just not pay heed to Modi and should leave him to his fate,” Musharraf said.

Reacting strongly on Musharraf’s remarks, Minister of State (MoS) for External Affairs, VK Singh said, “Musharraf is undergoing treatment. A sick man can utter anything. Why should we be bothered about it?”
