Krishna of Nedunchalai fame will be directing the film
Even as her debut film with Vikram Prabhu, directed by Vijay, is yet to start, M’town actress and daughter of yesteryear popular heroine Keerthi Suresh, has bagged her second film in Tamil. Keerthi has been roped in by none other than director Krishna of Nedunchalai fame for his upcoming flick, interestingly titled Maane Theney Paeye.
Once again, actor Aari teams up with Krishna to play the male lead. Krishna says, “My earlier Suriya-Jyotika starrer, Sillunu Oru Kadhal, was a romantic family entertainer and Nedunchalai was based on real-life incidents on the highways. Maane Theney Paeye is a rom-com to be shot extensively in Chennai and USA. It has all the elements to attract the youth of today.”
Aari says that he is going for a total makeover in terms of looks for MTP. “It is a contemporary love story and talks about the different phases of love. In contrast to my bearded, rugged look in Nedunchalai, Krishna wanted a more suave one for MTP. I am changing my hairstyle and shed a few kilos for this movie.
