New Delhi: Aam Aadmi Party member Chandra Mohan Sharma, who was found 'burnt to death' in his car in Greater Noida three months ago, was arrested from Bangalore on Tuesday.
Sharma was arrested following reports that he has been spotted in Nepal. The police suspected that he had staged his death and based on inputs sent teams to Karnataka, Nepal and its bordering areas to search for the 38-year-old.
A report quoted Sharma's wife Savita saying that the activist was allegedly living with another woman. She also believed that the AAP member had faked his death.
The police informed that the burnt body found in the car was of someone else and have now reopened the case.
