Mumbai: Priyanka Chopra is trying hard to control her temper these days. The Mary Kom actress feels that someone out there is going all out to create a rift between her and co-star Anushka Sharma. Rumours doing the rounds say that the actress had an argument with Anushka on the sets of Dil Dhadakne Do, which resulted in a major clash.
“This is extremely upsetting. Anushka is shooting in the adjoining studio for DDD. I spoke to her about the news that has been circulating. It’s utter rubbish,” PC clarifies. She admits she was worried about her equation with Anushka when she first heard about the alleged fall out. “Stories like that can hamper a good working equation. Both Anushka and I agree that our so-called war is a figment of someone’s imagination.”
A self-confessed happy girl, Priyanka is all set to embark on her new role as a producer. “I’m looking forward to the film that I’m producing with Madhur Bhandarkar. There is so much to do, why would I or any other actor get into petty issues? I’m extremely secure about myself as a person and as an actor.”
PC is very eager to launch new talent in the industry as a producer. “To cast me in my maiden home production was completely Madhur’s decision. Eventually, I want to bring in newer talent. I’d rather make small films with good content than be bogged down with the pressures of gigantic figures.”
