Renault's market share in India is 2.6 per cent and by the end of March, it is expected to touch close to 3 per cent, Sawhney said. In Kerala, Renault has a market share of 2.8 per cent and will cross 3.5 per cent. It has sold over 1 lakh Dusters and is committed to bringing the right product to the market, he said. Aiming to increase its reach in Kerala and taking Renault products to customers doorsteps, the car maker hopes to have dealerships in totally 12 locations in the state by December. A state-of-the-art dealership, 7th in the state, was opened at Kottayam yesterday.
Renault has plans to augment its network pan India to 175 dealerships by this year end. In South India it will have 45 outlets from the current 38 outlets by the end of this year.
