Tailor molests 2 children, goes missing
The accused, Puttachari, abused them sexually whenever they went to his shop
Bengaluru:A 32-year-old tailor from Thalaghattapura on the outskirts of the city has been booked for molesting two minor girls who came to his shop to sell flowers regularly. The incident reportedly happened in Somanahalli, under the Thalaghattapura police limits.
Though the accused was molesting the girls for the last one week, the incident came to light only on Sunday when the victims complained to their mother. The girls told their mother that the accused, Puttachari, abused them sexually whenever they went to his shop to sell flowers.
The family filed a complaint with the police. But when a police team went to his house, Puttachari was missing. The victims, aged 10 and 11 years, are children of flower vendor couple. They sell flowers to shops and commercial establishments in Somanahalli.
The accused has been booked for molestation and under POCSO Act. Search is on for the accused, the police said.
