Chennai: Sundar C’s Aranmanai has been in the news for its leaked teaser. Now, there are speculations that Raai Lakshmi, one of the leads in the film, is not happy with the director as some portions with her in it have been edited.
There is speculation about how other portions too, except those with Hansika in them, have been trimmed. Lakshmi dismissed this as the stuff of baseless rumour.
“I don’t know how such rumours spread online; they haven’t any truth. Post-production work on the film is going on in full swing. Sunder C is a good friend and we have no reason to differ. The film is coming out really well. Three big films of mine are set for release, and so perhaps miscreants are trying to spread these unnecessary rumours. This has happened to me repeatedly.”
The film is a horror-comedy, the entire story revolving around an an Aranmanai (a palace). It has Hansika and Santhanam playing crucial roles. Vinay Rai and Andrea also are important members of the cast.
