Hyderabad: A new National Education Policy will be formulated for the country after a gap of nearly three decades.
Union HRD minister Smriti Irani said on Sunday that a new National Education Policy (NEP) will be formulated this year and it would, reflect India of 2014 and of new possibilities.
The minister announced that debate and deliberations would be initiated at the national, state and regional levels soon to pinpoint the ills of the current NEP and formulate a new one.
