Hyderabad:The Telugu film industry is making plans to tackle the Web and electronic media. “Many websites are targeting the Telugu film industry and some of them are taking personal potshots too. Most producers have objected and have come to the conclusion that they will not invite electronic media journalists for film events,” says a source.
During a hush-hush meeting at the Film Chamber office, top producers like Suresh Babu, Korrapati Sai, Burugupalli, N.V. Prasad, Dil Raju, K.L. Narayana and others also discussed the negative publicity being spread by some channels if they were not given advertisements. “The producers want to control the electronic media and to stop giving video feeds to some of the channels,” added the source.
