Hooting deliberate, says Maharashtra Chief Minister Prithviraj Chavan
Ajit Pawar said insulting Chief Minister was equivalent to insulting maharashtrian people
Mumbai: Maharashtra Chief Minister Prithviraj Chavan on Saturday termed the hooting at Solapur rally “a deliberate attempt by BJP activists”. He also pointed fingers at the BJP leadership saying it couldn’t have been done without support from the senior leadership, as similar incidents were repeated in Haryana and Ranchi. Echoing the same, deputy CM Ajit Pawar said in another programme that insulting the chief minister insulting the people of Maharashtra. “I went for the Solapur programme of the PM as per protocol, but the BJP activists deliberately interrupted it,” Mr Chavan said on Saturday.
