Bihar Cooperatives minister Jai Kumar Singh's son was harassed, claims police

Gwalior: Police on Saturday said that Adarsh Kumar, son of Bihar cooperatives minister Jai Kumar Singh, apparently tried to kill himself following alleged harassment by three senior boys at the Scindia School.

Police recorded the statements of three boys who belong to influential families, which revealed that Adarsh attempted to hang himself from the ceiling fan of his hostel room as the trio used to harass him by asking him to do menial jobs like sweeping the floor and stand in ‘hen’s position.’

Meanwhile, Bihar Chief Minister Jitan Ram Manjhi spoke to his Madhya Pradesh counterpart Shivraj Singh Chauhan about the case and urged him to get the incident probed and punish the culprit.
