During the event on Thursday, alleged BJP activists started hooting during Soren’s speech when he was speaking at a function to unveil a slew of developmental projects by PM Modi at Prabhat Tara Ground at Dhurwa area.
They even ignored Modi’s request for restraint.
Hours after the incident, Soren told media, “The unseemly and disrespectful approach during my speech is rape of the democratic system." He even demanded a public apology for the Prime Minister.
JMM had threatened that they would protest against any Union Minister coming to Jharkhand.
Similar experiences occurred during the speech of Haryana Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda and Maharashtra CM Prithviraj Chavan at two different events.
