Ballmer steps down six months earlier to his retirement

Former CEO of Microsoft Steve Ballmer has stepped down from the company’s board with immediate effect. He was to retire six months later.
Ballmer owns NBA’s LS Clippers and claims that the he is very busy with the team. He wrote an official email to CEO Satya Nadella requesting his departure.
Satya Nadella replied to his email ‘While your insights and leadership will be greatly missed as part of the board, I understand and support your decision.’
